Why interpreting?

It all started with our fascination for languages, for all their nuances as well as their continuous development and transformation.

That's why we went on to study translation and conference interpreting and embark on a professional career in this field. To us, interpreting means enabling communication and understanding: a great responsibility, indeed! What characterizes good interpreting? The fact that communication flows without the participants even noticing that there are interpreters! In doing this, it is always fascinating for us to "become" a person, lending him or her our voice in another language and to challenge the linguistic constraints we face. Interpreting isn't boring and that's for sure! Sometimes we even feel like linguistic acrobats!
